Ffocus: Focus on what you want to read

June 5th, 2013

There are often times where some sites overload a page with things I don't care for, when all I want to do is read an article. It can be tough to focus on the content that matters. There are some tools to help out a bit, extracting the content and presenting it in an easy to read focused manner.

The problem with some tools is that it can take a few seconds for it to do it's thing. I wanted something instatanious and custom. Let me focus on the parts that are important to me.

So I created Ffocus. A chrome extension that puts the power back in my hands. When installed, hover over the element you want to focus on and the rest will fade away. Try it on this page, hover over some of the paragaphs.

It's still experimental and there will be bugs, if you find any please let me know below.
